Main points:
Keep cold, use hot
Temperature affects how the film works. Keep it cool in a refrigerator, but never freeze it. Ideally, it is best to let the film adjust to room temperature before use. This means a temperature of between 13 and 28°C. When it is cold outside, keep your photos warm, in a pocket next to your body, while they develop. On the other hand, if it is hot, store them in a cool place.
Take your photos in good light conditions
The brighter your scene, the better the photos. Instant film loves light, especially natural light. Use the flash for all indoor photos. For best results, we also recommend using the flash for outdoor shots, unless it's a sunny day.
Developing in the dark
All photos look blank at first. This is when they are most sensitive. So be careful not to bend or shake them. Protect them from light and lay them face down while they develop. Keep black and white photos away from light for about 1 minute, and colour photos for about 6 minutes.
Take care of your camera
Your camera has a set of rollers inside the film compartment. Each picture passes through these rollers when it is ejected. It is therefore important to keep them clean. If there is visible dirt on the rollers, wipe them gently with a soft, damp cloth.
